“One of the best quotes from Albert Einstein” by Justine Lee

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” – Albert Einstein

The past month has been eventful for me as I went to different places. It has been awhile since I last travelled, so this trip has been a good break from all the hustle and bustle in Singapore. Going back to the villages in China was a good experience. Whenever I go away for trips like these it reminds me to look at other people’s needs rather than my own.

My problems suddenly become so small and insignificant. If these children can stay simple and positive despite their situation, then I can put aside my worries and keep moving. Many of us picture our lives in a certain way, but when things don’t go according to plan, we get disappointed and discouraged.

We stop moving. We stop planning. And we stop believing.

We can go through the motion in life even though we are not happy or satisfied.

It’s like a cyclist who stops pedaling. The motion will still carry you through for a little longer and you can still feel the wind on your face. However you should know that sooner or later your bicycle would wobble, lose balance and fall to the ground unless you start pedaling again.

Start moving. Start planning your route. And start believing that you can get to your desired destination. It doesn’t matter how fast or how slow, you will get there. Just don’t stop moving.
