Soule goes on 958 FM
Hello! It’s me Jing Ying checking in today on behalf of Souledier and….I’m going to share about Soule Goes on 958 FM experience!
Although it was not our first time on radio [previously we had a chance to go on 938FM live with Elim Chew (of 77th Street and our most kickass mentor of all time!)] or sharing about our stories, it was kind of a fun experience doing it with Justine as it has been sometime since we’ve done a ‘live’ show!

With DJ Ling Zhi! She’s 99% of the reason why I enjoyed the radio show soooo much! Props to her, her enthusiasm, encouraging smiles to us and for sharing with us her airtime to talk about life. 🙂
I think the biggest reason for sharing about this particular Media feature was hallmarked by a particular moment during the interview, when Ling Zhi actually looked into my eyes and encouraged me not to give up on pursuing my dreams. Although she might not have known how much the words meant to me or how much it encouraged me, I was very touched by it and it was a Moment that I would always remember.
Many a times, we might *not* be the person that is sharing our successes on stage or for the world to see, but that does NOT mean that what we do is unimportant.
In fact, many a times, the smallest gesture of kindness, the smallest words of encouragement (that might have been small for you) means an entire world of change for another.
And for me, an (almost) stranger encouraged and spoke strength into my soul that day.
If you are reading this, and feeling extremely small and ‘not-visible’ or discouraged on days, feeling like your efforts are going down the drain (be it in work, life, relationships, etc…)
I just would like to remind you that you are so powerful and you are able to make a difference too, no matter how small YOU may seem to you. 🙂 Keep on keeping on (you might be just a ‘giant’ in someone else’s eyes!)!

You may feel very secure in the pond that you are in, but if you never venture out of it, you will never know that there is such a thing as an ocean, a sea. Holding onto something that is good for you now, may be the very reason why you don’t have something better.”
